Ok, so a lot is happening around us and the buzz is that civilians and LGBTQI+ vets are struggling with it all. So, sit back and take a deep breath, BravoCharlie has your six! And WE WILL get through this together. While programs, services, life affirming healthcare is being cut, there is strength in numbers and there are many ways to advocate for oneself and comrades.
First, there is currently an LGBTQI+ care coordinator at every VA. Use the link below to find out who yours is and how to reach them.
Next, Vet to Vet groups are popping up all over the country to advocate for and support each other. Many have weekly meet ups and daily check ins. If anyone would like help finding support near them, please reach out and I will do my best to connect you.
It seems every day more and more is coming out. Please remember, you are not alone! I am definitely open to start a BravoCharlie group and form it based on your input. We are ALL brothers and sisters in Arms and BC will not desert you! SALUTE!
